Will it take me the entire subscription length to complete the course?

  • We suggest you look at the study plan found in the introduction of your review course-this tells you how long each section is and the recommended study time for each.
  • You work at your own pace. It’Äös possible to cover all course material in just a few weeks if you’Äöre crunched for time.
  • Students who like to study without time constraints and pressure tend to excel with a 15 week subscription - $159.00.
  • Students who have little time to prepare and those that typically do well under time pressure tend to excel with a 3 week subscription - $49.00.
  • Students who feel they are a little bit of both typically excel with a 7 week subscription - $89.00.
  • All subscription lengths contain exactly the same content and features.
  • Your diagnostic pre-test will help you determine the NCLEX® Test Plan subcategories in which you are stronger or weaker. After the Pre-test you can review the course subcategories in any order you choose, at any pace you choose. The important thing is that you decide how much time to spend on the review!
  • If you run out of time during your review you are welcome to sign up for additional time by purchasing another subscription.

How do I go through all the course material -- how will I remember where I left off in each section?

  • You can attack the course material in any order you choose! It is probably best to start with those sections in which you are weaker. The program remembers where you left off within each content section. Each time you log back into the course, the program will ask if you would like to start over or start where you left off the last time! (This does not apply to the Q&A drills.)

Who authored the course material for NCSBN's Review for the NCLEX® Examination?

  • NCLEX-PN Review: NCSBN Learning Extension staff spent 1.5 years in development of this online PN review. Course content and items were taken from the RN review course currently offered. All content and items were reviewed and modified for application to the PN audience by an editorial team consisting of PN faculty from across the U.S. New items were also developed and added to the review to ensure a comprehensive representation of NCLEX-PN Test Plan category content. Go to the Course Faculty section for a complete list of editors and contributors.
  • NCLEX-RN Review: The Special Services Division of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) invested more than two years into the initial research and development of the NCLEX® Review Course. NCLEX® Test Plan subcategory content was authored and reviewed by nursing faculty and practicing nurses. Authors and reviewers were recruited on a national basis and selected for participation based on their respective areas of expertise. Go the Course Faculty section for a complete list of authors and contributors.
